It's no secret that I love the Bruichladdich Single Malt Scotch Whisky distillery from Islay, on the West Coast of Scotland. These are the most recent Peated Limited releases from Bruichladdich's 2023 Peated Range which, as always, arrived a little bit later in my market than others. I was able to try and review these samples thanks to yet another fantastic Kensington Wine Market virtual whisky tasting. In this video I provide tasting notes on these 4 peated Bruichladdich Single Malt Scotch Whiskies from the super heavily peated Octomore 14 and heavily peated Port Charlotte Cask Exploration Series ranges and then rank them from 4th place to 1st as well as give them a score out of 100. The whiskies I'll be reviewing are the: Port Charlotte PMC: 01 (Scottish Barley, Pomerol Cask) Octomore 14.1 (Scottish Barley, Ex-bourbon) Octomore 14.2 (Scottish Barley, Amarone, Oloroso & Pauillac Cask) Octomore 14.3 (Islay Barley, Ex-Bourbon, 2nd Fill French Oak Wine Casks) Watch to find out which of these 4 Bruichladdich Single Malt Scotch Whiskies was my favourite.
