A VIEW TO A KILL | Filming Locations

Going on a tour of one of my favorite movies, “A View To A Kill”, locations all found in San Francisco. The locations visited on this tour are: 1) Fisherman’s Wharf, a famous tourist site on the San Francisco waterfront, where James Bond makes contact with CIA agent Chuck Lee (David Yip). 2) The Transamerica Pyramid, where James Bond almost loses vital parts of his anatomy on the peak’s antenna. 3) The San Francisco City Hall, where 007 escapes a fiery trap set by Zorin (Christopher Walken). 4) The corner of Davis and California streets, one of the locations along the firetruck chase route. The chase primarily took place in the financial district. 5) The Lefty O’Doul bridge, next to Oracle Park, also known as the 3rd street bridge. It’s where 007 jumps the raising bridge, leaving his police pursuers behind on the other side.
