Serves to 4 people. Ingredients: Prawns 600 gms (clean and devein) cooking oil 2 tbsp chopped onions 2 nos. (medium size) tomato paste 1 tbsp chopped tomatoes 1 no. (large size) salt to taste water as required turmeric powder 1 tsp red chili powder 1 tbsp coriander powder 1 tbsp cumin powder 1 tsp fish stock 1 cup chopped green chili 1 tsp tamarind paste 2 tbsp white vinegar 1 tsp jaggery 1 tsp garam masala powder 1 tsp coriander leaves chopped Garnish: coriander leaves and lemon. Method: - Take 600 gms prawns, clean and devein them. Run under cold water and wash the prawns. - In a pan add cooking oil, when the oil is hot add chopped onions and fry for 7 minutes on medium flame. - Add tomato paste, and mix well. Add chopped tomatoes and salt, and fry for 10 minutes on medium flame. Add water and mix well. - Now add powdered spices, mix well, fry for 3 minutes on low flame. - When the spices are cooked and the oil is separated add prawns and mix well. Coat the prawns well with the masala. Mix and cook the prawns for 8 minutes on medium flame. - Add the fish stock in stages. Mix well the fish stock with the masala. - Now add chopped green chili, tamarind paste, white vinegar and jaggery. Add all the ingredients and mix well, cook for 5 minutes on medium flame. - Add garam masala powder and coriander leaves chopped. Mix well and cook for 3 minutes on low flame. - Kolmi No Patlo is Ready. Serve it hot with steamed rice. - Garnish with coriander leaves and lemon. - THANKS for Watching. Enjoy the Recipe.
