In this video, I try to show you guys the procedure for determining the gender of your tarantula. The first thing to do is to take the molt and dip it in a solution of dishwashing liquid and water. Let it rest there for 10-15 minutes. After that carefully spread open the abdomen region of the molt and focus on the area between the first pair of book lungs (White spots on the abdomen). If there are flap-like structures present then your tarantula is a female or else it's a male. The flaps are called spermatheca, it is an organ that is used to store the sperm packet received from the male during mating.
