Welcome to the Trick Shift Garage! In this video, Rob is going to show you how replace the thermostat for 2002 – 2018 Nissan Altima’s with the 2.5 Liter 4-cylinder QR25DE engine. Nissan used the same exact thermostat from all those years so this process should be the same! We first walk you through how to drain the coolant out properly and measure how much coolant drained out. Then we show how to remove the thermostat from the engine, clean up the parts, then how to install the new thermostat and also fill up the coolant system with fresh new coolant.
