How do you harmonize a melody? This video takes you through a tour of the various techniques available for attaching chords to a given melody. Along the way, you'll hear 15 different harmonizations of the classic children's song, "Mary Had A Little Lamb". This lesson takes as a prerequisite a certain level of music theory knowledge and is not for the beginner nor the faint of heart/ear. As you watch, keep in mind that these aren't necessarily meant to be "good" harmonizations. While efforts were made to present each variation in a compelling manner, this is not a video about "good" vs. "bad" chord progressions.
