45 attempts is a big jump from 3 attempts at most on any other boss. Flamelurker is a scary guy. And on PBWT tendency he can one shot my SL1 character with pretty much any attack. I used this as an excuse to start using the Clever Rat Ring and upgrading my Crescent Falchion to +4. It was really necessary. The strategy I ended up with was running around his left side, only rolling if necessary. If he did an AoE, I would attack once. If he did a swipe, I'd attack twice. At this level of damage, he will stun if he's not in the middle of an attack, so doing two hits after a swipe was safe. But not on the AoE since his recovery period can't be stunned out of. His jumping slam was also a great attack to follow up on, I got it twice at the end and it was super lucky. I got real greedy with three hits, didn't even know if I had enough stamina for it. But I got it. I like this boss but the run-up is so annoying, glad to be done with it.
