How to terminate an SC connector onto single mode fiber using a Corning Unicam Kit. 1. Put your boot on first! 2. Cut your outer layer off. 3. Cut the Kevlar. 4. Cut off the outer layer. 5. Strip off the inner coating. 6. Wipe the fiber with alcohol. 7. Cut the fiber to size using the cleaver. 8. Place the connector in the kit 9. Put in your fiber and press the cam button. 10. Turn the knob (if it shows red then repeat 9). 11. Take your connector out and slide the boot up. 12. Put your casing on and plug it in!
