I'm so proud of myself for winning 1st in Amateur Women this weekend !! 👏🏼🎊 This track was rough, wild, a good challenge, and overall a fun time! After practicing the dry track on Friday and Saturday, it rained the morning of the race, just enough to make everything more slick 🥴 I managed to ride a clean race run finishing in 7:56! It was my first time racing here! The first woods section was unlike anything I've ridden before, gnarly. The rest of the track was rather enjoyable, but also long and demanding. 🤘 Last year, I would've walked the first woods section.. Sugarloaf Mtn doesn't have a regularly operational bike park yet, so we only had the race trail to ride all weekend 🤪 This weekend was also my first time in Maine! It's beautiful.
