Sonic Advance Trilogy Speedrun World Record -

Speedrun of the entire Sonic Advance Trilogy in 1:22:06 - timing starts upon selecting the first stage for advance 1, and ends upon the in-game timer freezing in advance 3's last boss. This speedrun was ran on a gamecube with a GBA Player, using the Gameboy Interface software (You can see my input display at the top!). All three games were ran on a physical cartridge on the North American versions - though, note that I set advance 3's text language to japanese. I haven't done many multi-game speedruns before, and this is the first time I did one somewhat seriously. As a result, I quickly learned that expecting advance 2 and 3 to be done without major mistakes is nearly unrealistic due to how volatile those two games are - they're both extremely punishing, execution-heavy runs, and have a LOT of luck to the boss fights, so this run is obviously very improvable. Despite numerous sloppy parts, there were also a lot of highlights, and I'm happy enough with this given this was my only deathless/restartless run (a lot harder than it sounds!!). This run's advance 1 run is world record at the time of this upload (lol), and my advance 2 and 3 times were each within 34 seconds of my respective personal bests, so all things considered, I can't be too upset at being within almost a minute of all of my personal bests combined!
