Ford Focus 1st generation was equipped with a manual switch. However, the MK3 Ford Focus does not have one. The ECU of the car decides if it is necessary to activate it. If the vehicle was in a crash or for some reason you have no fuel then it is very likely to be The Fuel Cut Off Switch. Once you reset it it should start. It might take a few tries. The Ford Manuals does not state hold the key on Second position for 30 seconds but we have tested it on a few Wrecked Ford Focuses and it seems that it if you do not wait 30 seconds it does not always work. Hopefully it will save you some trouble.
