ToysEasy YW2401 Type 071 Transformation Sequence

Purchased from ShowZStore: https://showzstore.com/ Order Page: https://showzstore.com/toyseasy-yw240... Figure Note: Stop-Motion Transformation of ToysEasy YW2401 Type 071. One left to go! Unfortunately there isn’t even a preorder yet for the final leg. There is an unused transformation joint in the thighs. It seems like it could be used to reduce the length of the legs for combiner arm mode but the instructions don’t mention employing that joint and all the pictures show the joint extended in arm mode just like in ship or robot mode. So I erred in favor of having the transformation be a bit more elegant and just didn’t touch those transformation joints at all. Those little linkages that connect the bridge of the ship are very specific. For ship mode and arm mode they must be folded INWARD, but for robot mode they fold OUTWARD. It’s all in the sequence. Support Note: Like what you see? Send me a tip! https://paypal.me/peolesdru You can also give me some points when you shop at ShowZStore by putting in “Support Reviewer” code “peolesdru”. Ship to Robot: 0:09 Robot to Arm: 1:33 Arm to Ship: 2:51 Speed run Ship to Robot: 3:59 Speed run Robot to Arm: 4:26 Speed run Arm to Ship: 4:51 Speed run Ship to Arm: 5:13 Speed run Arm to Robot: 5:36 Speed run Robot to Ship: 6:00 2x Run: 6:27 End credits: 7:41 Production Note: I didn’t have to do any photo cleanup, which is unusual for a figure of this complexity. Good job, photographer me! Post-production me appreciates you. Viewing Note: If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using your , and . keyboard keys to advance by single frames. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking. Music: The music is by Ethan Meixsell - www.ethanmeixsell.com Songs: “Gut Check”, “Demise”, “Takeoff” and “Run”
