Understandable since I don't recall ever recording a video of me using those artes. I know they exist, I just tend to shy away from them. I wanted to make this battle stand out some since I still don't know any good way of fighting this guy. Might as will try to do something I haven't shown you before. Also, it looks like I used the Barbatos Ring, for the final form (Radiant Winged One) anyway. Form Up, and every now and then, Littlebig Chef could not break through his barrier, leaving me open for a pummeling. On top of that, Phantom Wolf was pretty much an instant kill, taking over 9000 (not a joke...) and leaving Patty stun. Even if she survives, her recovery is accompanied by her terrible landing lag, leaving her to die. If Patty just lays there instead of recovery, she will just get shank'd and die anyway. Recovering with good timing will give Patty Guard Stance, reducing the damage done to her (but that alone is not enough). Due to Radiant Winged One's combo potential and amazingly damage output, anything that connects with Patty (excluding Moonbeam), will instantly kill her. No point in trying to prevent status effects I can't live to suffer from. I once had a run where I actually got far without using the Barbatos Ring. Once his HP got really low, I threw on the Barbatos Ring and went Overlimit 4 to finish the job. Sadly, he hit me with an Artes Seal, but due to his low HP, I could easily finish the job still. Even sadder, he put confusion on me. I slipped up badly due to the attack button changing to L2, and he not only healed using Healing Circle, but used Brave Vesperia getting back just under 800,000 HP. On to my strategy. The Critical Form strategy here was to knock Duke down, retreat to dodge his Recovery Arte, and crush him. From there, use combos to prevent him from jumping up and retaliating, and finish things with Welcoming Dish by pushing him away, or attempting to carry the combo farther. The Brainel Form strategy was to knock Duke down, and either safely heal, or pin him down. The quick combo I used can allow Patty to quickly cast Critical Moment (which is completely unsafe). Anyway, look! Gald Search (Stylish) AND Critical Moment (Beautiful) against the final boss. Can I say "Slight Improvement"!? ...I still like the Estellise version better!
