Monthly RTD Webinar - NSW Government's Low-Carbon Concrete Initiative

Join the Roads & Transport Directorate team in collaboration with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) for our September webinar. We'll discuss the NSW Government's capability-building initiative aimed at helping NSW councils specify and procure low-carbon concrete to reduce embodied carbon emissions. The NSW Government recently developed Low Carbon Concrete Requirements and accompanying factsheets in consultation with three NSW Government agencies. These resources provide practical guidelines for sustainability initiatives that reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with concrete. This specification is designed to be used alongside other project requirements and Australian standards. The webinar will provide an overview of the specification, along with the commercial and technical background of the project.
