Cinematic 4K DJI Air2S Drone footage of Ananuri in the Dusheti Municipality in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region of Georgia. Ananuri is a castle complex 64 km from Tbilisi and 12 km from Zhinvali, along the Georgian Military Road. Ananuri fortress was built in the valley between the two rivers of Aragvi and Vedzatkhevi, so that no enemy army could pass by unnoticed. From the 16th until the 19t centuries, Ananuri was the main stronghold on the way from Daryal Valley to Dusheti and from Russia to Georgia. Although Ananuri fell in desolation, it has remained well preserved and is one of the main tourist attractions in Georgia.
