It takes a lot to become a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) at Samuel Merritt University (SMU). In one of the fastest growing professions in healthcare, an FNP is quickly taking the role of primary care physician for millions of Americans, and particularly those who live in underserved communities. The students you’ll meet in our video studied at SMU’s Sacramento Campus where, over the past two years, they dove head-long into their studies, spent untold hours with their cohort, and developed a deep bond with the professors who helped launch their careers.
