What is FCRA ACT | क्या है FCRA ACT 🔴 Topic discussed in this video:- What is FCRA act ??? ▪️FCRA stands for Foreign Contribution Regulation Act. ▪️ It regulates foreign donation and insured such contribution do not adversely affect internal security. ▪️ FCRA was first elected in 1976 and amended in 2010. ▪️ The FCRA is applicable to all Association , Groups and NGOs which intend to receive foreign donation. ▪️ It is mandatory for all such NGOs to register themselves under FCRA. ▪️ The registration is initially valid for 5 years and it can be reasonable subsequently if they comply with all norms. ▪️ Registered Association can receive foreign contribution for social ,educational ,religious economic, and cultural purpose. ▪️ In 2015 Ministry of Home Affairs notified new rules which require NGOs to give an undertaking that the acceptance of foreign funds is not likely to affect the sovereignty and integrity of India. FCRA ACT 2020 ( amendment) ▪️ NGOs can not use more than 20% of foreign donation as administrative expenses currently this limit is up to 50%. ▪️ Under new FCRA act NGOs will not have the power of transfer foreign donation to any other organisation. ▪️ Aadhaar number will be mandatory while RENEWABLE the FCRA licence. ▪️ Under FCRA act 2020 any public sector, government organisation,or controlled by government are declared invalid to receive foreign donation. ▪️ Central Government can issue the permission to non government NGOs to give back there FCRA certificate. #DecodeIndian
