John Wilson, Ph.D. Presales Solution Consultant, Siemens Digital Industries Software John Wilson has over eight years of commercial experience in multiphysics simulation. He started his career at Siemens after completing his PhD at Imperial College London. After working in technical support for Simcenter STAR-CCM+ for six years, he joined the 3D Fluids Center of Excellence organization at Siemens as a customer solutions consultant focusing on battery cell development and thermal management. He recently performed a custom proof of concept for a major Electric Vehicle manufacturer to understand the propagation of thermal runaway in their near 200-cell battery pack. As a form of continuing education, he recently completed a certificate in Advanced Mathematics at the University of Houston with focuses on statistics, linear programming, and multivariate analysis.
