Gyrismos - soundtrack for "The Return"

Dedicated and written for the King of Thebes. Gyrismos = (Return) features 13 musical pieces written for the upcoming film The Return. Inspired by the news of an adaptation of Ulysses' return, I composed this piece as a dedication to the source of my inspiration. The instruments A pontian lyre, a catalpa seed, black sand from a mythical beach, african drums, recordings of the Ionian sea, electronic midi sessions, a classical piano, an antique mortar, Corfu's thunders and storms and experiments on an electric guitar. Story The story begins in November of 2022 when I learned about the creation of a film based on an ancient greek myth, a film that was directly connected with my thesis. From that moment of knowledge, the strong core that connected me with the Return was so poweful that actuated me to begin composing the music, the voyage of Ulysses.
