Las Vegas summers are always brutal, but the option's are that they're getting worse. Record heat temps this year and many of our neighbors yards are burnt up. We've decided to spend summers in a milder region of Mexico and while the house is occupied and maintained, the yard has to survive on it's own. I prepared the irrigation and hoped that I had the "formula" right! Some damage, but no worse than I've seen from my other gardening friends. I'll continue to dial in what plants are best for this situation.
