Lunaris, who permanently resides on the celestial body, visited Cyneric in his dreams. The god was not on the side of Arawn and instead told a prophecy of Cyneric's future, taunting the young prince. There was a catch to this prophecy. It was also someone else's. Someone who lived in the Arawn Empire too. The events and outcomes are different, but greatly similar. Little did Cyneric know, Lunaris was alluding to Cetia, the army's head weaponry designer and best friend to the prince as the other half. The god also alluded to the king's assassination and culprit, though Cyneric will never believe it to be his friend, who advocated for peace and morality, until it is too late. Lunaris is greatly pleased at revealing this prophecy. He isn't able to tell anyone, but Cetia is his nephew. Those related to Cetia do everything to make sure they can do the best for the young one, even if they have to remain hidden. So much turmoil before this one becomes a god. Beings of the world are free to create their own future and destinies. However, once a prophecy is spoken the future is set and unchangeable. In depth prophecy explanation: "I see a song of past romance" - Godly ties to family. Cyneric is a descendant of the goddess of war, who remained the patron deity of Arawn. Cetia is a mixed of Oceania, a queen of the merfolk who ran away many years ago, and Vulcanite, god of weaponry and forages. Both gods feel in love with their mortal mate. "I see sacrifices of men"- Those who have died in the war was in part of both of their actions. "I see portrayals of betrayals"- Cyneric finding out Cetia poisoned the king/his father. Cetia made a deal with a guard, in exchange for poisoning the king he would finally be escorted out the empire. The guard lied and revealed to Cyneric who killed the king. "and a brother's final stand"- Cetia and Cyneric have a stand off "I see on the brink of death/I see you draw your final breath"- both nearly kill each other "I see a man who gets to make it home alive"- Cyneric gets healed by a goddess and returns back to his throne a month later. Cetia heals himself with an immortal fruit gifted by the god Rasputin. He established a new town with freed igor slaves from Arawn. "but it's no longer you"- during the month gone, Cyneric learns more about Apomaia and merfolk to where he made the decision to attempt to make amends with the underwater empire and have a ceasefire for decades to come. Cetia had replaced most of his limbs with robotic technology to escape the Arawn Empire without relying on anyone else anymore; he later becomes top voted to become a new deity as his town turned into a popular and important city in just a couple decades. For Cyneric: "I've seen your palace covered in red"- the war has caused a lot of causalities, mostly on the Apomaia side, who's people are very often kidnapped to be cut up and eaten by those in Arawn due to just being seen as a big fish and nothing else. "faces of folk who had longed to see you dead"- those in the palace have eaten the vast majority of the royalty in Apomaia due to being crab-like. Its a given why the remaining loyalty LOATHE land royals. "i see your dad with a folk who is hurting, the one with a trail of bodies"- the king declares Cetia as next in line to be his queen. Cetia, against his will, creates machines for the empire. Every single type is used in killing and capturing merfolk.
