During the first big climb willingly dropped to join the chase group. Spent a lot of time with some really strong riders in that group for most of the course. Group split up in Pinnacle which I was happy to survive with some newly placed giant "gravel." Started fading on Staton Road, but got a second wind after Cascade which was necessary for Jeter. Felt like I could actually push the pace at the end of the race this compared to just being in survival mode in years past. Really stoked for 20th in a huge field full of national and international talent.
