Ensign Peak is an easy trail on the north side of Salt Lake City, Utah, above the Capitol Building. I went up for sunset and happened to catch a lightning storm too! This is a great spot to hike for sunset, although you'll be sharing the view with a bunch of other people. Since the hike is short, easy, and so close to town, a LOT of people hike it.
