Kerala is the southern most state in India, but when you arrive here, you feel as if you are in a completely different country. The language is completely different to Hindi, the food is on another level and the people not only look and dress different, but are much more laid back and friendlier in our opinion. We spent a day exploring the port city of Kochi, also known as Cochin and were taken away by the amount of things to do here in the relatively small city. From cathedrals, churches and museums there’s plenty of places to explore here. Not to mention the delicious which we found to be some of the best in the whole of India.
