In this video, I will teach and explain some concepts about Australian visa applications. I aim to help you understand some Australian visa concepts that may help you obtain a visa to Australia. Remember… pass mark is 65 BUT Greater chance if the score is higher than 65 most invitations in Subclass 491 range from 75-95 points. Important points about EOI 1. EOI or expression of interest is within the Skillselect. 2. You need to lodge an EOI if you are applying for any skilled visa that is points tested. 3. EOI is not a visa application and will therefore not entitle you for a bridging visa while waiting. 4. EOI is free – valid for 2 years 5. Your EOI will be removed from the Skillselect if you receive 2 invitations and don’t lodge a visa application The usual process to lodge a SC491 1. do you skills assessment 2. get your English tested 3. submit EOI for subclass 491 (or other skilled points tested visa) 4. Wait for invitation. 5. Apply to the nominating state. 6. Visa application Common mistakes in lodging EOI 1.Lodging an EOI without skills assessment or without English having properly tested 2.Forgetting to update the EOI 3.Claiming for points that you cannot prove 4.
