DIY Friendship Bracelets!! 4 Easy Stackable Arm Candy projects!

*** Closed captions will be ready in a couple of hours. Hi guys!! Spring is coming up, so as sleeves get shorter I decided to make these DIY bracelets that are both super easy and cute. Here are the steps for each bracelet: 1. Sailor knot You will need: suede cord, a chain and a closure. Start off by cutting 4 pieces of the cord of 25 cm long. Make a loop with two of them as I’m doing here and tape it to the table. Then take the other two pieces of cord and cross them over the loop and tape one of the sides to the table. Then, take the other end and we are going to make a circle with it crossing first under, then over, under and over again and finally under the last cord piece. Take out the tape ad tighten the knot and it will be complete. Then cut out the excess and add your closure with the help of some pliers. Attach the chain to one of the sides and measure the length you want. Then cut out the excess and your bracelet will be finished! There are a lot of different closure you can use so go ahead and use the one you want. 2. Square knot with beads For the next one you will need: leather like cord or similar, some beads (I chose this cute flower ones) and clear elastic string. Take two pieces of the string of 15 cm long and tie a knot on one of the ends. Then thread your beads. I only chose four but you can use more if your wrist is bigger. Then tie a knot on the other end. Take a 30cm long piece of cord and thread it through the two strings between the beads and the knot. Do the same to the other side and you will have something like this. Then take a 1 m piece of cord like so and it’s time to make some square knots. For that take the left cord cross it over the centre and under the right cord and thread this right cord under the centre and through the loop created by the left and centre cords. Then do the same on the other side. Take the right cord cross it over the centre and under the left cord and thread this left cord under the centre and through the loop created by the right and centre cords. If this was too fast click here for a more in detail explanation. Make some more knots and do the same on the other side until it fits the size of your wrist. Cut out the side cords and secure the knot with some nail polish. Then tie a knot with the centre cords. As we used an elastic string you won’t need a closure for this bracelet. 3. Easy chain bracelet You will need: leather like cord, a short piece of chain and a closure. Tape the chain piece to the table so it doesn’t move. Take a 30 cm piece of cord, fold it in half and thread it through one side links of the chain. Then take the ends and thread them through the loop created. Do the same to the other side. Measure the bracelet on your wrist and cut out the excess. Then attach your closure, as for the first bracelet I’m using these crimp end closures that you can find at craft stores or bead shops. 4. Double chain bracelet You will need: suede cord, leather like cord, chain and a closure. Take two pieces of chain of the size of your wrist. Then start threading a piece of the suede cord through the links, under one of the chains and over the other as I’m doing here, until you get to the other end. Then start on that end with the other cord and do the same thing. Cut out the excess and glue the ends to the inside of the bracelet. Then add your closure, mine has two jump rings to attach it to the chain. I think this one is my favorite and it was actually really easy to make. ***As English is not my first language, I found it really hard to give all the instructions for the bracelets, so I hope they were clear but if you still have any question leave a comment and I will try my best to answer it.
