A Guided Tour of Igor Stravinsky's L'histoire du soldat (1918)

This composition was created as a theatre piece, but is more often nowadays presented as a concert suite of nine movements. I made an earlier video over this same piece, but was never happy with the recording I chose. This re-visiting of the material affords me an opportunity to present a gift to the musicians of OU's New Century Ensemble. In this video, you will hear members of the Cleveland Orchestra, directed by Pierre Boulez.
