Children are experiencing a significant rise in anxiety and depression, increasing rates of obesity and related health problems, exposure to environmental hazards, and educational disparities. They also grapple with social inequality, violence, conflict, and the pressures of social media. Meanwhile, women continue to confront systemic barriers, including limited access to education and employment opportunities, gender-based violence, and social and economic inequality. By continuing to invest in accessible healthcare, quality education, and economic opportunities for children, we can unlock vast potential that benefits economies and societies alike. This exciting panel will explore strategies for targeting investments and philanthropy to address specific challenges faced by children, and how various stakeholders—individuals, philanthropic organizations, and corporations—can effectively collaborate to ensure these efforts reach the most disadvantaged populations and drive sustainable, transformative change.
