Hi fashionistas! Here is part 1 in my series on how to sew for beginners! I wanted to go in depth on some sewing topics so that people with zero sewing experience can have a guide for all the basics you need to know to get into sewing! I want to ease the growing pains and confusion for beginner sewists so you can get into your sewing projects faster and easier! In this video I will be covering the basics of your sewing machine (mine is a Singer Sew Mate), how to wind your bobbin, and how to thread your machine. I also go in depth on the different buttons and settings on your machine so you know what each one means, as well as how and when to use each setting. I also talk about different sewing needles and needle sizes, and how you can choose a needle for your poject!
