The story jumps between the Cleons on Trantor, The Foundation on Siwenna and Terminus, and the Beggar on Synnax. Each of the stories is currently disconnected but they all feel compelling and you can see how they’ll all start to come together. Brother Day (Lee Pace) is still planning on marrying Queen Sareth (Ella-Rae Smith) to produce an heir. She seems to be on board with the idea but she also takes every opportunity to question the Empire’s health and stability. Brother Dawn (Cassian Bilton), and Brother Dusk (Terrence Mann) aren’t supportive of his plan but there isn’t much they can do to stop it. Demerzel (Laura Birn) appears to be behind his decision. In the second episode Gaal (Lou Llobell), and Salvor Hardin (Leah Harvey) need Hari’s (Jared Harris) help to leave Synnax. He’s upset about her decision to leave the Raven behind and explains how crucial the Second Foundation is to the plan. Gaal has this confirmed when she sends her consciousness into the future and encounters a new character named the Mule. S2, E2 JULY 21, 2023 A Glimpse of Darkness Gaal has a disturbing vision.
