For the penultimate offering in my six part Al Bowlly tribute, we hear him as an uncredited vocalist with west country bandleader Reginal Williams. For recording purposes his band was augmented with some well known London session men. Williams was featured in two recording sessions which resulted in three records. Al Bowlly can be heard on one side of each of them. This is only the third time in fifteen years I've shared a record as late as 1939. I would consider five out of six in this tribute to be uncommon Bowlly records but this one I would describe as rare as indeed are any of those Bowlly - Williams Columbia records.
