Twin Towers: Backyard Banana Update

Cannot believe how much these bananas have grown. Despite the failed attempt to keep them tall over winter they came up from nothing and are all taller than last years at this time. Especially the Twin Towers. Two big bananas bigger than the single banana from last year. I measured every banana plant here from Woodchips up to just where the new leaf comes out. What I consider the top of the pseudostem. Also I measured one of the largest leaves on every banana here to see if there’s a linear correlation or possible pattern. If so then maybe use this knowledge to have better intuition for the coming inflorescence. Here’s a link to the video showing these same banana plants before they over wintered.
