Illusory Moonlight ~ Lusiora Castle Town

The hero has finally made their way to town of Lusiora, the home of the famed Lusiora Castle. It's a vibrant and bustling hub for all denizens of the world to interact with each other, and acts as a gateway to the wider world itself. Upon their arrival, our hero finds that the town just so happens to be in the middle of preparations for the annual Lunar Festival, an event held each year to commemorate the Lusioran's arrival in this world. Many believe that they originated from the moon but no one truly knows how they arrived here. The final night of the festival is always accompanied by a display of shooting stars falling through the night sky, and some rumors say that an eerie light can be seen emanating from the moon on certain nights all throughout the festival. Unsure of why the mysterious messenger instructed them to come here, our hero searches for clues on what to do next. Illusory Moonlight is a proof of concept for a modern soundtrack using the sound effects and instruments from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It originally started off as a small side project, but quickly developed into a full fledged OST with an accompanying story behind it that I would like to see made into a ROM hack one day.
