Ep3 | WDW Summer 2019 | First full day in Magic Kingdom | Be Our Guest | Disney Pins!

Welcome to our Summer 2019 trip to Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida! It's our two week summer spectacular! We booked our flight using our Virgin Atlantic Airmiles and managed to get Upper Class seats flying from London Gatwick to Orlando MCO, and Premium Economy for the return flight. For the first week of our trip we stay at Disney's Coronado Springs - we really love it there. With our booking we got free Disney Quick Service Dining, and we planned our meals to take full advantage of it.  For our second week we moved to a condo at the Oakwater Resort.  So come and join us for dining reviews, Disney merch shopping, park fun, tit sweat and wind! It’s our first full day at Walt Disney World and there is no better way to start a trip than going to the Magic Kingdom. It’s the first day of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and the Halloween decorations are up! And don’t they look great – but shame about the lack of Halloween Pineapples. We start our day with our Be Our Guest breakfast. It’s a Disney Dining Quick Service credit, and as we got that free as part of our package it means a free breakfast, and who doesn't like one of those? And at $28 a breakfast, that’s a bargain! We decide to sit in The Beast’s Quarters and it is so dark. You’ll see how dark it is. We return to Space Mountain but get put in the opposite track to the one we rode last time, so we have anxiety! Rightly so as it was just as stressful as the last time! We also have some more camera issues! It’s now time for Tomorrowland Speedway aka Driving Miss Daisy 2.0 As always it’s never a straightforward journey, but we’re not at the back of the pack for the first time. After some refreshments at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café we take a ride Under the Sea with Ariel and we hope you enjoy the cheesy montage! We pass a rather chesty Gaston on the way to 7 Dwarfs Mine Train where, as usual, there are drops and screams galore. Did you expect anything different? As dark rain clouds start to form we head to Memento Mori – the Haunted Mansion merch shop – we’ve never been in it before but they have some great stuff. Obviously another shopping montage follows! What was your favourite? We head to the Frontier Trading Post pin shop – as you know we do love a Disney Pin – and we are after some Up pins. But we also film the new Halloween pins and the range of blind boxes they have, because we love a shopping montage! Big Thunder Mountain next. Our favourite Magic Kingdom ride… and it doesn’t disappoint. There is much screaming, and waving at strangers! It’s lunchtime and we head back to Be Our Guest Restaurant to stand in a line for 25 minutes to order a turkey sandwich and a chicken salad. One was great, whilst the other was hugely disappointing – thankfully it was part of the dining plan. And that is where we leave it for today. We had a lovely morning.
