From where to download the official version of MCMMO to how you can install MCMMO on your server to what you need to know in order to configure MCMMO, it is all covered in this video. We set out to make a complete admin guide for MCMMO, and that is what we have done in this video! So, without any more delay, let’s go ahead and jump right on into our complete how to guide for MCMMO. First things first, I want to talk about what we are going to be covering in this tutorial. Basically, there are 2 types of #MCMMO tutorials. Those for server admins and those for players. This one is for server admins. In this tutorial, I am going to be showing you how to setup MCMMO on the server, configure it, and then jump in game to show you some of the admin commands that MCMMO offers. If you want to know about how to use MCMMO as a player, we have a tutorial on that which you can check out in the description above. Now, in order to add MCMMO to your Minecraft server, we need to download it. Luckily, you can find the official download link for MCMMO in the description above. Once you are there, you can see a lot of information about MCMMO including all of the features it has, what the plugin does, and even some of the links to the MCMMO wiki. To download it though, you will need purchase the plugin. After that, just click the download button to the right of the plugin’s name towards the top of the page. The download will begin right away. You will need to keep/save the file in your browser. Once you have done that, you can go ahead and install MCMMO in Minecraft. To do this, just drag-and-drop it into your server’s plugin folder. You must have a Spigot, Bukkit, or Paper server in order to install MCMMO. After that, just restart your Minecraft server, and all of MCMMO config files will automatically generate! MCMMO has a lot of different config files. Most of them, you never really need to touch. MCMMO is very good out of the box, and even large servers don’t do many changes. It is very well balanced and requires pretty much zero user intervention in order for it to run correctly and how players expect it to run. We are going to be taking a look at two of these configuration files though - the config.yml and the advanced.yml. The config.yml is all of the basic configuration stuff for MCMMO if you are going to change something it is most likey going to be here. The advanced.yml has some more advanced config options. Most people won’t touch these, but it can be good to look at just in case. Moving in-game, MCMMO doesn’t have many admin commands. You can see them all though by running the /mcmmo help command. When you do, you will see all of the player commands for MCMMO in addition to the admin commands. Admins can add and remove levels from players as well as check the skills of other players in MCMMO.
