What’s the difference between a Bar Graph and a Histogram?| Class 8th Maths|

A bar graph is also called a bar chart. It is a graphical representation of data using bars which is of different heights. We can represent end numbers of data into bar graphs, such as types of cars, colors of the dresses and so on. No matter what the data is it can be visually put onto a graph. It helps us know what a data is saying. A histogram is similar to a bar graph. But the difference is clear. A bar graph has gaps between the bars and the bars of a histogram are adjacent to each other. Bar graph and histogram are two ways to display data graphically.
