The one exception is the Cadmium Yellow I show last, by Winsor & Newton Cotman. the reason I included it was that it was a yellow I used to use extensively in my first few months of watercolor painting. ** LIST OF PAINTS ** 1. Indian Yellow (Schmincke) - Pumpkin PY110, PY154 Series 2, 4/5 Lightfastness, Transparent, Semi-staining 4. Yellow Ochre (Schmincke) - Corn cob PY42 Series 1, 5/5 Lightfastness, Semi-Opaque, Staining 5. Lemon Yellow (Daniel Smith) - Sunflower PY175 Excellent Lightfastness, Transparent, Non-granulating, Low staining 6. New Gamboge (Daniel Smith) - Banana PY97, PY110 Series I, Excellent Lightfastness, Non-granulating, Low staining, Transparent 7. Cadmium Yellow Hue (W&N Cotman) - Pencil Permanent, Transparent-Semi-transparent, Staining, I wasn't planning on adding blue, but the yellows weren't strong enough to create a significant contrast. So I decided to use some Ultramarine Blue, and I'm very pleased with the result.
