IT'S HUGE The New Ford Bronco Raptor Is The Most Insane SUV Ever! But Is it Worth $80K!? 2023 Bronco Raptor Review // Thomas Gets Stuck, James Breaks It 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor Review and Off-Road Test Does The New Bronco RAPTOR Have What It Takes to Demolish The HEMI V8 Jeep Wrangler In a Drag Race? Is The Ford Bronco RAPTOR Really Worth $17K More Than a Bronco Sasquatch? The 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor SUV Beats Ford's Target of 400 HP The latest in the Raptor family will have 418 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque on tap. When it was announced, the 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor already had a lot to live up to, including the existing Ford F-150 Raptor pickup. Now we know what the Bronco Raptor will punch out of its 3.0 liter twin turbo V-6: 418 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque, thanks to Ford CEO Jim Farley on Twitter, so how does the new Bronco SUV compare to the other V-6 Raptor truck from Ford? Let's take a look. Let's face it: The days of needing a V-8 for making more than 400 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque are over, done, terminado. Here we are with 418 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque out of a 3.0 liter twin turbo V-6. It's not far off its pickup partner, where the 3.5 liter twin turbo V-6 in the F-150 Raptor makes 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque. Despite making less power, the V-6 in the Bronco Raptor makes more torque than the 5.0 liter V-8 of the Mustang GT. Ford Bronco enthusiast website, Bronco Nation, is lucky enough to have gotten an official sneak peak at the upcoming Bronco Raptor, which will arrive next year and join the F-150 Raptor in Ford's new high-performance off-road lineup. We've seen spy photos of the Bronco Raptor before, but these lightly camouflaged images show its assertive stance, burly rubber, and aggressive looks. The Ford Bronco Raptor will be equipped with Fox's Live Wire twin-tube bypass dampers (also used on the F-150 Raptor), allowing it to travel over uneven terrain at higher speeds. It'll be available with 37-inch BFGoodrich K02 all-terrain tires (also a newly available option on the F-150 Raptor), though a set of smaller 35-inch tires should be standard. Tying all these aggressive elements together will be a significantly wider stance, as clearly seen here, with bulging fender flares. It also has a "Ford" script grille like the F-150 Raptor, amber headlights and marker lights, meaning it'll be more than 80 inches wide, skid plates, and darker, unique tailligh Let's look at the power-to-weight ratio of the all-new Bronco Raptor. At 418 hp and weighing in at 5,750 lbs, the Bronco Raptor comes in at 0.073:1. The F-150 Raptor, by comparison, has a 0.078:1 ratio (the F-150 Raptor weighs in at 5,740 lbs). This means that both trucks are roughly the same in terms of power to weight, which is rather incredible considering the 0.5-liter smaller displacement and 10 extra pounds the Bronco Raptor has on over its truck sibling. Unfortunately, that power does come at a cost. As we pointed out recently, both Raptors get around 15 mpg according to the EPA. Hey, that's just the price you pay to make that much power in a vehicle at close to 6,000 lbs as these two are. Ford has yet to reveal any details on what will power the Bronco Raptor, but rumor has it that it'll use a significantly more powerful EcoBoost V-6. Currently, the Bronco's most powerful engine is a 330-hp twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6 that helped propel the two-door Bronco First Edition to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds in our testing. The Bronco Raptor's output should be much higher and could even approach upwards of 400 horsepower. But it'll have to compete with the new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392's 470-hp V-8. car review, driving sports tv, 2022 ford bronco raptor, ford bronco review, raptor bronco, ford bronco raptor, ford bronco raptor 2022, 2022 ford bronco, 2022 bronco raptor, best off road suv, off road suv, ford bronco off road, ford bronco 2022Bronco raptor, 2022 bronco raptor review, 2022 bronco vs jeep wrangler, bronco vs jeep, bronco off road, bronco raptor off road, bronco rock crawl, bronco raptor baja, bronco raptor race, bronco raptor vs f150 raptor, bronco raptor vs defender, bronco raptor vs badlands, bronco raptor vs trx, bronco raptor vs jeep 392, bronco 0-60, bronco raptor sound, bronco raptor exhaust, ford ecoboost, bronco raptor black, bronco raptor drag race, best offroad, offroad rock crawlingbronco raptor, ford bronco raptor, 2022 ford bronco raptor, ford bronco raptor 2022, ford bronco review, ford bronco, ford bronco raptor review, raptor bronco, bronco, 2022 ford bronco raptor price, 2022 ford bronco raptor review, 2023 ford bronco raptor, 2022 bronco raptor, 2021 ford bronco raptor, new bronco raptor, ford raptor, new ford bronco, bronco raptor review, 2022 ford bronco
