We are a Swiss couple exploring exciting places and we are going to make you love this place. We hiked a 17km trail in 4.30 hours from Vallorbe to Orbe, near Yverdon. We started from Vallorbe train station, crossed the city and after 45min walk we could observe the impressive Vallorbe Viaduct. Then we started the gorge, starting to get some shadow and enjoying so a fresher atmosphere. After one hour walk, we reached the Saut Du Day, the highlight of the day. A hidden gem, were you can have your lunch. This place looks like paradise, very relaxing. Going down from there, we crossed some dams of hydroelectric stations, crossed another small village called Les Clées where we had a drink to finally reach the town of Orbe. Park your car at Orbe and take the bus which goes to Vallorbe. Then hike the way back until your car at Orbe. #vaud #suisse @yverdonlesbainsregion #hike
