Flip Edition 3 - Insane Marker and Bottle Flip Trick Shots | Efficiency

It's here. I cannot begin to express how excited I am to release this video. Almost 11 months in the making. Hours upon hours of flipping as well as hours of editing has culminated into... this. I guess I should start from the beginning. After uploading Flip Edition 2, I took a break from flipping. I had exhausted a lot of my ideas for flips as well as reached the limits of a lot of my surfaces and markers. Flipping wasn't much fun, so I transitioned to some other things. I did a lot of dice stacking that winter. I did flip, though. During February and March was when I began to start up again. I got a few good flips, which I kept a secret from everyone. B2B 3.0 hi liter caps, B2B two stack tip (although Sam knew about this, since I was at his house when I landed it), 3x full empty expo caps. I got nine stack, which wasn't a secret, and got extremely close to 10 stack, never actually getting it. I had a bunch of good flips, and I was excited about the prospect of Flip Edition 3. However, I knew I wanted to get a new best flip before I uploaded it. My best flip was full six, so naturally, I tried full seven. I got close a few times, but I never got it. It was hard. So I kept flipping into May and June. Sam left for camp at the end of June. I got a few new, good flips, and I got a new iPad case. I got B2B full non empty tips, and I had such a good surface that I began to try three. Quickly, I got it, on HouseParty with Cam and Supreme. However, it still didn't beat full six, so while I was very happy, I wasn't ready to make Flip Edition 3. Then, I quit. Well, kind of. After getting 3x full non empty tips, I started trying four in a row. Now this was insane - it would be my best flip! I got 3x full tips nine times, but didn't get four. I had to go on vacation, so my plan was that I would say that I quit, go on vacation for a couple weeks, and then come back, get 4x full tips, and surprise everyone when I uploaded Flip Edition 3. However, once I came back from vacation, I didn't get 4x full tips. In fact, I barely tried it. Flipping legitimately got boring, and I stopped flipping altogether. Now, everyone thinks I quit, and at this point, I have. October comes, and I'm bored, so I flip a little bit. I get a few decent flips, and make a post. I'm not sure if I'll come back, but I'm just doing whatever I want at this point. Flipping becomes fun again, and I get a few more decent flips. I'm back now. I post a few of my secret flips from February/March, since - well, why did I do that? I guess at that point I wasn't confident that I'd get a new best any time soon, and I was just looking for some things to edit. I posted B2B 3.0 hi liter caps and B2B two stack tip. Then, just a few days ago, I started trying some caps/tips. I had gotten 3x full caps off camera twice a few weeks before, and I wanted to get it on camera. I tried it for awhile, getting back to back a bunch of times, but didn't get it. I alternated between trying a few things, and decided to try B2B 2.0 non empty tips. At first, I barely got any, but I got the motion down, and got at least 30-50 in one day. The next day, I tried it in the morning, and on my first 2.0 non empty tip... I got back to back! This was my new best flip, the flip I'd been waiting for since full six, over a year before. For over a year full six had been my best flip, and now I had a new one. I was ecstatic. Literally. Now, I was overwhelmed, and I began the tedious process of editing this video. I had tons of flips, tons of b-roll to shoot, tons of work to do. I implemented many new, creative edit ideas, making this video as good as it could possibly be. I decided that I wanted to get a couple new flips, since I had given away all of my secret ones from earlier in the year. Quickly, I got B2B full caps, B2B 1.5 caps, and left it at that. If I realized that I needed more flips, I would've gotten more, but I was able to spread all of my flips out over two songs and six minutes pretty perfectly. And yeah, that's where we are right now. I'm curious to see how this video does, since videos on my channel have been doing not great lately, and flipping videos in general have been suffering. Maybe it's finally the end of flipping on YouTube. We'll just have to wait and see. Anyways, I really hope you enjoyed this video. You can see how much time and effort was put in, and hopefully it pays off. The journey was quite fun, and the destination is just a bonus.
