Forest of Dean: Summer In The Deep British Woodland

A short wildlife film showcasing a small section of the beautiful creatures and landscapes of the Forest of Dean. Created by Rebekah Thompson & Atif Hashmi and narrated by Peter Thompson. All footage was shot by us in August 2022. In this film we see how the Forest of Dean contains some ancient fragments of British woodland and as we search for the wildlife inside this forest it is easy to see why it has such a magical allure. Shy mammals give us some glimpses and there is also a prized sighting of some elusive Wild boars. Wild boars were once native to the UK and they are now back in the Forest of Dean! Other than the Wild boars inside the Forest of Dean, We also some other rarer species such as Dung beetles, Hawfinches and Spotted Flycatchers.
