Let's delve deeper in to the medicinal benefits of goldenrod infused oil. The infused oil is a traditional remedy for arthritis or pain-relieving salve. It is a good substitute for arnica in an infused oil. Goldenrod is helpful for bruises, sprains and minor injuries from trauma. Goldenrod also helps relieve pulled muscles, stiffness and pain. Use goldenrod infused oil as a massage oil to help heal overworked muscles. Goldenrod oil is particularly good on old, slow-healing wounds that ooze and refuse to heal completely. Its astringent and anti-inflammatory actions help tighten tissues; its analgesic, antiseptic, disinfectant, and anti-microbial actions all assist the body in healing quickly.
