The Excel TEXTSPLIT function vs FLASH FILL tool with a Practical Example

🔵 FREE EXCEL FILE TO DOWNLOAD: https://jopaexcel.com/wp-content/uplo... In this Excel video tutorial, we gonna see the difference between The Excel TEXTSPLIT function and the FLASH FILL tool with a Practical Example. The benefit of using function TEXTSPLIT is that it can update the results automatically whenever the text is updated. On the other hand, Flash Fill tool is not updated automatically. And the benefit of using Flash Fill tool is that it is easier to avoid errors and it is easier to correct errors already in TEXTSPLIT function. Errors can happen and solving errors is more difficult. Flash Fill automatically fills your data when it senses a pattern. For example, you can use Flash Fill to separate first and last names from a single column, or combine first and last names from two different columns. Let's say column A contains first names, column B has last names, and you want to fill column C with first and last names combined. If you establish a pattern by typing the full name in column C, Excel's Flash Fill feature will fill in the rest for you based on the pattern you provide. The TEXTSPLIT function works the same as the Text-to-Columns wizard, but in formula form. It allows you to split across columns or down by rows. It is the inverse of the TEXTJOIN function. #JopaExcel #Dashboard #Excel
