This is my families go to cake. It's so adaptable, you can swapsies nearly everything. Here's how I remember it. It goes like this... 250, 250 500 4 eggs and enough milk. This is 250g salted butter, 250 g sugar. Cream this together. Then add 3-4 eggs and mix. Then add 500g Self Raising Flour and "enough milk" this is around a mug of milk. The last 5 minutes are talking about the different variations and how this recipe became the only cake we all use in our family. I hope you love it as much as we do.
