*TIGER IS STACKED - I'M STACKED* A brief highlight on why you're still struggling at golf and how the best golf instructors have duped you into believing rubbish golf techniques. The most recent Golf Digest article features a Tiger Woods golf tip that is one of the best ever. He discusses a body-friendly setup and also how being STACKED over the golf ball can lead to crispy-clean iron shots. We all want those! Many golfers are intimidated and RUN in fear when they hear the words "STACKED" because it reminds them of STACK AND TILT. Why do everyday golfers run from such words? What created the negative stigma associated with the STACK AND TILT swing? I see golfers and pros have emotional argumentative fits over those 3 WORDS. STACK. AND. TILT. Here's the problem. I was just like y'all. Browsing YouTube for tips and trying to find the perfect swing. I was aware of Stack and Tilt but I would NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS watch a Stack and Tilt tip though. You just didn't venture there - your friends and family would exile you, your golfing buddies would find another partner, your spouse would stop talking to you, ETC. I believed the negative stigma because that's what I was taught by the "best" instructors in the nation. "DON'T DO THAT STACK AND TILT. IT'S BAD. VERY BAD. HOW CAN YOU HIT IT WITH POWER IF YOU DON'T SHIFT YOUR WEIGHT." Out of fear, golfers don't try it because they think "if the best instructors hate it, then I will also hate it too." This reasoning is very flawed because a lot of the tips I tried from the "best" instructors, and also countless notable YouTube pros, led to me almost quitting the game entirely. It was at my deepest rock bottom in golf that I ventured to the world of Stack and Tilt. I did so out of necessity. I had nowhere to go - either give up golf and your PGA card hopes OR find a way to make this work. That is when my golfing life did a complete 180. It was in the first couple of weeks of learning Stack and Tilt that I was beginning to see the light - I was more consistent, powerful, and pain-free. YAY! Oh, and I dropped 20 shots in two weeks (from 95 to 75) with only two lessons and two practice sessions. Seeing the benefits of this method, my excitement grew with each passing range session - even leading me to the point of teaching y'all today. When I switched, I was ridiculed for it. AMAZING how swinging a golf club can anger people when you say the words STACK AND TILT. When I told fellow golfing colleagues I was doing Stack and Tilt, they were quick to insult me and my choice to do so. I never understood this. I'm playing the best golf ever in my life and people are UPSET - after all, It's a freakin' game people! This begs the question - and ONLY YOU can answer this question. If you've been receiving golf tips from experts and pros on the internet - or in person - have you truly seen improvement? It's time that you CHECK YOUR INFORMATION. Ask the pro what he teaches. If he/she can't give you a good answer and it sounds like made up gobbledygook, avoid learning from them! After all, you will only be as good as the information you're swinging with. Last question for you. If you've had a negative bias towards Stack and Tilt, why do you have that bias? Is it because the "best" instructors told ya so? Are you afraid of what your golfing buddies will think? Golf has been dominated by flawed teaching systems, and those flawed teaching methods are the foundation of golf learning EVEN TODAY. A lot of the information you see is not based on TRUTH. This is why the average handicap of golfers has not improved over the past 40 years (even with the improved golf technology). This is likely why you are still struggling. Stack and Tilt is a system entrenched in the TRUTH - physics and geometry never changes. You've been taught to swing the wrong way by many popular figures in the golf industry. It's time to embrace a method that works. Change your mind, accept Stack and Tilt into your golfing life and allow yourself the pleasure of striking the ball ridiculously well.
