Aindra Prabhu March 2010. Vrndavana, India...

Aindra prabhu and devoted followers performing kirtan in the Krsna Balaram temple in Vrndavana India. March 2010. This was shot the day before the boat festival. Aindra prabhu has always been a big influence on me and a great inspiration and I wanted to document his kirtan so others in the world could see what he dose. Little did I know that this would be one of the last Aindra kirtans I would see in this life. Thanks to Shane on second camera. We shot in Hig Definition, 24p mode for a more filmic look. I was using a Cannon HV20 and Shane his Lumix GH1. Footage edited on FCP. The sound is coming from the little Zoom recorder on the mrdunga that you see in front of Aindra. I used the four mic channel setting so you get a surround sound. It is very nice sound for a live kirtan.
