Banda Singh Bahadur (बन्दा सिंह बहादुर) was the first Sikh military leader and a commander of Khalsa army who wage huge wars against cruel Mughal rulers who were trying to spread their cruel government, fear and terrorism among all. This great Sikh warrior, fought the Mughals till his last breath. Born as Lachman Dev on October 16, 1670, it was Guru Gobind Singh Ji who gave him the new name of Banda Singh Bahadur and made him one of the greatest Sikh warriors as well as one of the most hallowed martyrs of the Khalsa Army.
