KGFP Korea Global Forum for Peace 2021 • Theme: The Peace Process on the Korean Peninsula and A Vision for New Inter-Korean Relations • Date & Time: September 1, 2021 (Wed) ┃10:40~12:10(KST) • Organizer: Korea Institute for National Unification Amidst a prolonged impasse of North Korea-U.S. dialogue and inter-Korean dialogue, it is necessary to peacefully and stably manage the situation surrounding the Korean Peninsula and to achieve denuclearization and settle peace on the Korean Peninsula. A discerning analysis is required on the situation surrounding the Korean Peninsula, positions of the neighboring countries over denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula and the peace process, and issues and tasks ahead for denuclearization negotiations. The session will discuss South Korea’s policy and tasks ahead to establish new inter-Korean relations and settle a peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.
