Back at another Route 66 round. Was excited to see how I could perform at Badger after the RA round. Was finding more pace through practice but then didn’t put it together like I could have in Qualifying. Heat 1 was a big bummer with the DNF. Had a brand new and seemingly one off issue with the carb, never had it before nor was it an issue Sunday. Sunday was awesome. Was forecasted to rain and it sure did. It rained all day from the moment I was awake and was just the right level to be fully wet but without lightning (after the early morning delay), or too much standing water to race. This was my first time on full wets instead of just running slicks in a light light drizzle. It was an absolute blast, it was super fun finding the grip around the track and trying to pick through the field to make up for the last place first heat. Really allowed for a variety of lines and fun racing with the field. Looking forward to running more of this series next year. Qualifying - 0:00 Heat 1 - 3:50 Heat 2 - 4:50 Feature - 13:34
