[ Mujahid ibnu razeen ] #mujahid_ibnu_razeen ==================== ‪@sntamilbayan8394‬ ==================== Zakat is an Islamic religious obligation to give a specific portion of one's wealth or income to those in need. According to Islamic teachings, there are eight categories of people who are eligible to receive Zakat: The poor and needy The destitute The stranded traveler The Zakat collectors New converts to Islam in need of financial assistance Those burdened with debt Those who are fighting for a just cause or serving in the military Wayfarers who are in need of help. Zakat should be paid directly to the eligible individuals or through reputable organizations that are authorized to collect and distribute Zakat on their behalf. It is recommended that Zakat be distributed within one's own community, but it can also be given to people in other regions or countries in need. Zakat can be paid in various forms, including cash, checks, or bank transfers. The important thing is to ensure that the funds reach the intended beneficiaries in a timely and efficient manner. It is also recommended that Zakat be paid during the month of Ramadan, but it can be paid at any time throughout the year. ------------------------------------------------------- the Qur'an and Hadith provide detailed guidance on the concept of Zakat, its recipients, and how it should be paid. In the Qur'an, Zakat is mentioned multiple times as a religious obligation for Muslims. For example, in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:177), it says: "Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves." In Hadith, there are many narrations that provide further details on Zakat. For instance, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The one who pays Zakat is not only purifying his wealth, but also purifying his soul." (Narrated by Imam Ahmad) Additionally, there are many narrations that explain the recipients of Zakat, as well as the proper way to calculate and distribute it. For instance, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Zakat is a compulsory charity that must be given by every Muslim who has wealth beyond his needs, and it is to be distributed among the poor and needy." (Narrated by Imam Bukhari) Therefore, the Qur'an and Hadith provide clear guidance on Zakat, its recipients, and how it should be paid. Muslims should refer to these sources to gain a better understanding of this important religious obligation. ======================== whatsapp group : https://chat.whatsapp.com/FFAKDbMlO5k... facebook Group :   / 545054721062140   facebook page : https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?... -----------------------------------------------------
